There are so many modern day distractions, especially in the Western World, created by the “sense of I” to keep the Presence and voice of god far away. Walking and talking with god in the modern world, amidst all the distractions ~ this IS our way~ There is no other way for us for we are not monks, not ascetics. We in fact lead very complex and busy lives with families, companies, jobs, and bills to pay.

The distractions are endless~ an example is the excessive amount of “noise” generated in our society from radios, televisions, games, traffic, construction, people, planes, trains, cell phones. Another example is the distractions generated by the media: images and video from magazines, advertisements, billboards, newspapers, books, movies, computers, televisions.

The sense of “I” loves distractions, why? Because the distractions all give the “I” survival, a very long life. As long as one is surrounded and attached to distractions, the search to know god and cultivate a relationship and bond with the divine will be very small indeed. It can be seen as an equation:

~THE MORE ONE SEEKS DISTRACTIONS, THE LESS ONE SEEKS TO KNOW GOD ~

~THE MORE ONE SEEKS GOD, THE LESS ONE SEEKS DISTRACTIONS~

Simple as that. This is based on the Universal Law of Attraction: “Whatever you shall seek, you shall find”.
What you seek, thus putting you attention and focus on, you shall find. So it makes obvious sense, the more one seeks distractions, the more one will find distractions. The more one seeks to know the divine, the more one finds the divine.

So the question is: how to navigate all the distractions in this modern world we live in?
The answer from the divine: To commune with god at maximum flow and potential, it takes focus and dedication, so it is always best to remove yourself from distractions, of course~ Go to where there is the least amount of distractions, in nature of course! In the absolute exquisite silent presence of nature, away from the noise of man-made distractions. Alive with pure and unadulterated nature, teaming with LIFE, lakes, rivers, forests, bees, birds, fish, breeze, clouds, sun, dragonflies, ants, dirt flowers, trees~ all exquisite in their presence. The voices of nature, singing and dancing in praise to the divine all around!

Remember, empowered individuals make choices towards the direction they want their life to head in. They make choices all day long, saying “YES’s” and “NO’s” loudly and clearly. What do you say YES to on a daily basis. What are you saying NO to? Take a minute to reflect on this…

Are you saying YES to:
~Distractions
~Television, Magazines, Newspapers
~ Mindless shopping
~Idle chatter/gossip?

Or, are you saying YES to:
~Contemplation
~Meditation
~Cultivating your relationship with your divine
~Connecting with grace through the giving/receiving of Deeksha
~Actively reaching out to god?
What are you saying NO to:
~Social Standards
~Status Quo
~Old Paradigm
~Fear-Based actions
~Untruths told by others

Or, are you saying NO to:
~Quiet time
~Solitude
~Time in Nature
~Putting external effort in communing with your god
~Realizing self, for example through the Oneness Processes

Just “SEE” to what and who you are saying YES and NO to~

Just “SEE” and realize these choices are attracting your present and future to you.

Are you seeking a life of distraction? Or are you seeking a life of Awakening and God-Realization. You will know the answer, Grace is delivering the answers to you now…
What we need now are empowered individuals, consciously and actively making decisions on a daily basis (ideally all day long) that bring god to them and through them, to be walking and talking with god. You decide ~ what do you want?
