What is Deeksha?
Deeksha is the Sanskrit word, meaning “benediction, initiation”. This intelligent transfer of divine energy brings about actual neurobiological changes to the brain, and thus creates a shift in consciousness on the Awakening and God-Realization journey. Some of the effects of Deeksha are:
- The de-clutching of the mind, ending the mind’s constant chatter.
- Awakening the body’s energy centers; Chakras and Nadis.
- Attuning the brain with the “Field of Unity”, experiencing Oneness.
- Activating the body’s natural healing and balancing abilities.
- The descent of the Divine Presence where man is merged with god.
Deeksha is cumulative and over time, this gift of Divine Energy to the recipient is designed to bring Awakening, Oneness, and God-Realization. Deeksha Givers have attended either a 21-day course in India, a 7-day course in Fiji, or a 2-day course in the US. All Deeksha Givers have gone through special processes and an Initiation to be a vehicle of the divine grace of Deeksha.
The receiving of Deeksha is experiential, and usually happens through the laying of hand’s on the recipients head for about one minute. What the recipient experiences is unique to them. Som
e people feel the energy very powerfully, some see visions and images, some feel an immediate sense of calm and connectedness, for some their mind chatter stops, and some people don’t feel anything at all. What is important is to be very aware of what is happening to you individually.
The 2 Avatars, Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, have brought the Oneness Deeksha on a mass scale to the world. Their main focus and intention is to awaken all to Oneness, thus ushering the planet into the “Golden Age”. This corresponds with the Mayan Calendar and the significance of 2012, the indigenous tribes world-wide, and the major religions. Deeksha is energy based and is not religious in any way; however, it does enhance whatever spiritual or religious path you may already be on.
